India, Sept. 18 -- With its youth-centric development agenda, the Chhattisgarh Government is making a concerted push on skills, employment, higher education, entrepreneurship and sports.

Around 9,000 vacant Government posts are being taken up for direct recruitment. A new Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board has been constituted to make Class III and IV recruitment integrated, transparent and time-bound, according to an official statement.

To restore confidence in recruitment system, tough provisions to curb paper leaks, impersonation and electronic cheating have been introduced, with 3-10 years' imprisonment, fines of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1 crore and property confiscation for offenders.
