IMD predicts relief from heatwave across North India, Thunderstorms likely over next 3 days
India, May 28 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted gradual relief from the ongoing heatwave conditions across several parts of North India over the next three days, with thunderstorms, rainfall and strong winds expected in many regions.
According to the weather department, a western disturbance and moisture incursion from the Arabian Sea are likely to bring a change in weather conditions across northwest and central India.
The IMD said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds and light to moderate rainfall are expected over parts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh during the coming days.
