India, Oct. 31 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in Telangana on November 1 and 2 and heavy to very heavy rainfall in coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 2 and 3 under the influence of a fresh low-pressure system over the Andaman Sea.

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40-50 kmph, reaching up to 60 kmph, were forecast at isolated places in Telangana on October 30 and 31 and November 2 and 3. Gusty winds of 30-40 kmph, reaching up to 50 kmph, were likely on November 1.

On Saturday (October 31), the IMD forcasts a light to moderate rainfall with maximum speed of less than 40 km in isolated places of Telangana including Hyderabad.
