India, June 19 -- Delhi Police arrested a man from Mumbai for allegedly murdering his wife in Delhi's Gandhi Nagar area, officials said on Thursday. Khalid Navi, a Chanderpuri resident from Kailash Nagar, was arrested on June 16 after a three-day interstate manhunt following the alleged murder of his wife, Rukhsar, who was around 30 years old.

According to police, they received information regarding the murder at the Gandhi Nagar police station on June 13. A police team rushed to the spot and found the victim dead. Forensic experts and the Crime Team examined the crime scene and recovered a blood-stained knife suspected to be the murder weapon.
