India, Sept. 22 -- How will tribunals function if there is no infrastructure? The Supreme Court on Monday remarked while directing the Centre to identify infrastructural amenities urgently required by the National Company Law Tribunal benches in consultation with the NCLT president.

Observing that tribunals are the government's lifeline, a bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana also ordered the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Principal Bench Bar Association to collect data on infrastructure at all regional benches in a tabulated format.
