India, June 24 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair the 10th apex-level meeting of the Narco-Coordination Centre (NCORD) on Friday, with a strong focus on tackling synthetic drugs, darknet-enabled trafficking, and expanding rehabilitation facilities for drug users, officials said.

The high-level meeting will bring together representatives from 44 central ministries and departments, along with 108 officials from state governments and drug law enforcement agencies. The discussions will be held in hybrid mode and will review ongoing efforts to strengthen India's anti-narcotics framework.
