India, July 7 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched Delhi's ambitious Mission 70 Lakh Plantation Drive, aimed at increasing the city's green cover and promoting environmental conservation under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign.

Shah inaugurated the mega plantation campaign by planting a sapling in the Central Ridge area of Delhi. The initiative targets the plantation of 70 lakh saplings across the national capital through the participation of government agencies, institutions and citizens.
