Hindustan Copper Ltd gets green nod for Chandmari mine in Rajasthan
India, June 25 -- State-owned Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) said it has received forest clearance from the Government of Rajasthan for mining at the Chandmari copper mine in the State.
In a filing to the BSE, Hindustan Copper said the forest clearance is co-terminus with the lease period of the Chandmari mining lease.
"It is informed that the Forest Department, Government of Rajasthan, vide its Letter dated 19.06.2026 (received on 23.06.2026), has granted forest clearance co-terminus to Chandmari copper mine lease period in District Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, of Hindustan Copper Ltd," the filing said.
