India, Sept. 29 -- India's Gulveer Singh added a bronze in the men's 5000m to his medal tally at the Asian Games here on Tuesday, completing a hat-trick of podium finishes at the continental event.

32.75 to finish third, following his silver-medal performances in the men's 1500m and 10,000m earlier in the Games.

The achievement made Gulveer only the second Indian man to win three track and field medals in a single edition of the Asian Games.

Lavy Pinto had achieved the feat at the inaugural Asian Games in New Delhi in 1951, winning gold in the 100m and 200m and silver in the 4x100m relay.
