India, Aug. 16 -- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday said the State's development journey has attracted global attention and positioned Gujarat as one of the country's key growth engines.

Addressing the State-level Independence Day celebrations at the Police Parade Ground in Amreli, Patel unfurled the national flag and inspected the ceremonial parade in an open jeep. Contingents of the Gujarat Police, women police personnel, Home Guards, traffic brigade, NCC and dog squad participated in the march-past.
