India, April 16 -- The Delhi Government is planning to roll out 150 additional electric buses on April 17, its third such launch this year, officials said.
In a push for green mobility in the Capital, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has launched around 800 electric buses this year alone, taking the total number of city buses close to 6,500.
In February, marking the BJP government's one year in power, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched 500 buses from Ramlila Maidan.
Subsequently, in March, 300 more electric buses were launched by the government.
