India, Oct. 29 -- The Government should support job-creating labour-intensive sectors as well as frontier industries in the coming years, and support to them should be well-designed, linked to clear goals, and reviewed regularly, S Mahendra Dev, chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM), said on Thursday.

Addressing an event organised by the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID), Dev said that there is a need to strengthen the competitiveness of all firms because Atmanirbhar Bharat does not mean India is going back to the pre-1991 era.
