India, April 5 -- The Delhi Government has formed a dedicated special internal cell under the Urban Development Department for more efficient coordination of the stakeholder agencies involved in development works.
The decision to constitute the 20-member cell, including officers from the Delhi Jal Board, Public Works Department, Irrigation and Flood Control, Environment and Forest, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and Delhi Development Authority (DDA), among others, was taken in a meeting of a high-level committee on the rejuvenation of the Yamuna chaired by the Chief Minister Rekha Gupta last month, they said.
