Govt approves Rs 33.31 cr relief to farmers after crop losses
India, July 18 -- The Delhi Government, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, has approved over Rs 33.31 crore in ex-gratia relief for farmers whose crops suffered 100 per cent damage due to heavy rainfall and waterlogging in August-September 2025.
The relief will be provided at Rs 75,000 per hectare, benefiting farmers across 4,442.41 hectares of agricultural land in the national Capital. The amount will be transferred directly into eligible farmers' bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) from next month.
