India, May 8 -- Giving a major push to healthcare and medical education infrastructure in the national Capital, the Delhi Government has approved the construction of a modern medical college and hostel complex at the Indira Gandhi Hospital campus in Dwarka, costing about '805.99 crore, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Thursday.
The ambitious project received clearance at a recent meeting of the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC), chaired by the Chief Minister.
The Government aims to complete the project by 2028.
