Government refutes claims of UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2026 paper leak, calls viral posts fake
India, June 16 -- The government has dismissed social media claims suggesting that the question paper for the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026 was leaked, calling the reports completely false and misleading.
The clarification was issued by the Press Information Bureau's (PIB) Fact Check Unit after several posts circulated online alleging that the prestigious examination's question paper had been compromised ahead of the test.
In its statement, the PIB Fact Check Unit categorically termed the claims as fake and urged aspirants and the public not to believe or share unverified information. The agency emphasized that the examination process follows stringent security protocols to ensure fairness and integrity.
