India, Feb. 21 -- The Delhi Government on Friday marked the Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram with a grand cultural programme at the Delhi Secretariat. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended greetings to the people of both states and said the celebration reflects the spirit of "Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat".

The event was organised to commemorate February 20, 1987, the day Mizoram became India's 23rd state and Arunachal Pradesh the 24th. Cabinet ministers of the Delhi Government were also present on the occasion.
