India, April 11 -- The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Red Shield Division visited remote and isolated villages, Sinaikeithei and Tingpibubg, inhabited by Tangkhul and Kuki communities, to assess the prevailing situation and engage directly with the local populace.
During the visit, the GOC interacted with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and village headmen, holding constructive discussions focused on fostering mutual understanding and exploring peaceful resolutions to the ongoing tensions.
