India, Aug. 26 -- Smearing your car with 3,400 lipstick kiss marks by your girlfriend can land the vehicle owner in trouble. He had to shell out a Rs 5,500 challan, remove the marks and wash it to restore the exterior.

The incident in Gwalior came to light after a video went viral, raising curiosity. The police tracked down the car through its registration number and imposed the fine for violating traffic rules under the Motor Vehicles Act. The car, owned by Aditya Sikarwar, became the centre of attention after its entire exterior was covered with lipstick marks resembling kisses.
