India, July 16 -- A property dispute turned fatal in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad after a 32-year-old man allegedly shot his father dead over a disagreement involving family assets worth around Rs.150 crore. The incident took place late Wednesday night in Budana village near Modinagar, where police say the accused had returned home under the influence of alcohol and demanded property documents from his father.

According to investigators, an argument broke out when the father refused to hand over the documents. During the confrontation, the accused allegedly opened fire, fatally injuring his 55-year-old father.
