India, June 3 -- The Ghaziabad district administration has launched a major enforcement drive against unregistered educational institutions, sealing several madrasas in the Khoda area under a special campaign dubbed "Operation Clean Sweep."

Officials said the action was taken after inspections found that the institutions were operating without the required registrations and approvals from the concerned authorities. The drive was carried out jointly by district officials, education department representatives, and local police.
