India, Sept. 15 -- On 14 September 2026, under the leadership of the Officer-in-Charge, Enforcement Zone-2, Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), demolition action was carried out against an illegal colony being developed in the Modinagar area.

At Khasra Nos. 922, 923 and 924, located in Village Rori, behind Mangal Vihar Colony, Modinagar, an area of approximately 17,000 sqm was being illegally developed as a colony by Mukesh Thakur, son of Late Dharamveer Singh; Gaurav Chauhan, son of Kulbir Chauhan; M/s MG Properties; Jitendra Kumar, son of Rajveer Singh; and Sunil Vyas, son of Shivraj Vyas. Earth-filling work was being carried out for the construction of roads for the proposed illegal colony.
