India, June 12 -- Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is scheduled to visit Shillong on June 15 to participate in a regional infrastructure summit and launch a series of national highway projects aimed at strengthening connectivity in the Northeast, officials said on Thursday. During his visit, Gadkari will attend the CEOs Round Table at the North East India Infrastructure Summit and Exhibition (NEIINFRA) here, they said.

The summit is expected to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors and other stakeholders to discuss infrastructure development, investment opportunities and regional growth in the northeastern states.
