G7 allies scramble to put Ukraine back atop Trump's agenda as war drags on
India, June 16 -- Leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) nations used the summit in Evian, France, to refocus international attention on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, urging stronger support for Kyiv as the conflict enters its fifth year.
The issue had recently been overshadowed by tensions in West Asia and negotiations surrounding the US-Iran ceasefire agreement. However, US President Donald Trump indicated that his administration would now turn greater attention toward the war in Ukraine following progress on the Iran front.
