India, June 16 -- The Cyber Police Station of Delhi's South West District has busted a fake insurance fraud syndicate that allegedly cheated citizens, particularly senior citizens, by posing as insurance company representatives and demanding money for policy renewals.

Four accused have been arrested in connection with the case. Police have recovered Rs 2 lakh in cash, three keypad mobile phones, seven Android mobile phones, incriminating WhatsApp chats and forged insurance policy documents during the operation from their possession.
