Food safety raids in Cyberabad uncover cockroach infestations, stale food and hygiene violations
India, June 24 -- Food safety inspections conducted across several eateries in Hyderabad's Cyberabad region have uncovered serious hygiene and food safety violations, including cockroach infestations, stale food, expired ingredients, pest infestations and poor storage practices. The raids were carried out by the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) as part of its ongoing drive to improve food safety standards.
Inspections at multiple restaurants and food establishments in areas such as Kukatpally, Hitec City, Gachibowli, Kothaguda and Madinaguda revealed alarming lapses.
