India, March 28 -- During the peak tourist season, Srinagar Airport will restrict flight operations from 8 am to 5 pm every day starting April 6 for an Indian Air Force runway upgrade, which is slated to last until July 31, 2026.
At present, around 60 flights, including arrivals and departures, operate daily between 8 am and 10 pm at the airport. However, as per a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Indian Air Force, operational hours for scheduled flights will be temporarily restricted until 5 pm starting from April 6 due to ongoing runway works.
