FIR filed against Punjab Kings Cricketer Shashank Singh, father after cook alleges assault
India, June 30 -- An FIR has been registered against Punjab Kings cricketer Shashank Singh, his father Shailesh Singh, a retired senior police officer, and their family driver following allegations of assault and verbal abuse made by a domestic cook in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
According to the complaint, the cook, identified as Vipendra Singh Tomar, was hired by the Singh family a few days before the alleged incident. He claimed he was promised a monthly salary along with food and accommodation but soon faced repeated criticism over his work.
