FDA raids Siya Goyal's family shop, seizes food products worth Rs 8 lakh
India, July 16 -- The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has raided a spice and dry fruits shop in Pune owned by the family of Siya Goyal, one of the accused in the murder case of realtor Ketan Agarwal. During the inspection, officials seized food products worth more than Rs.8 lakh over alleged violations of food safety regulations.
According to the FDA, several food items were found to be in violation of food safety norms. Authorities also collected samples of products for laboratory testing and initiated further action under the Food Safety and Standards Act.
