India, Nov. 3 -- The allegations that a resident of Trump Towers Delhi NCR in Sector 65, Gurugram, and his family were placed under house arrest have been disputed by developer M3M India, which has clarified that the issue relates to a building-wide lift access protocol introduced during ongoing interior fit-out work.

The developer said the resident and his family were never prevented from leaving their apartment or accessing common areas within the tower. Both staircases, designated as fire and emergency exits, remained accessible, while the lifts continued to operate and could be called from other floors. The apartment has two main elevators, and no emergency or safety facility was restricted.
