India, July 20 -- The Haryana Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has seized counterfeit blood pressure medicines in Gurugram and arrested two people in connection with an alleged interstate fake drug racket. Officials said the spurious Telmisartan 40 mg and Amlodipine 5 mg tablets, commonly prescribed to treat hypertension, were manufactured at an unlicensed facility in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, before being supplied through a wholesale distributor in Delhi's Okhla to medical stores in Gurugram.
