Enumeration phase of SIR begins in Arunachal Pradesh
India, June 17 -- The enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has got underway across Arunachal Pradesh, as part of a nationwide drive by the Election Commission to update voter lists.
According to a statement issued by the state's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), electors whose enumeration forms are submitted by July 14 will be considered for inclusion in the draft electoral rolls.
Voters who are unable to submit the forms within the prescribed period can still seek enrolment during the claims and objections stage by filing 'Form 6' along with the required declaration form, it said.
