India, June 13 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday carried out raids at seven premises linked to Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA and former West Bengal minister Madan Mitra in connection with an ongoing investigation into an alleged municipality recruitment scam.

According to officials, the search operations were conducted across multiple locations in Kolkata and surrounding areas, including residential and apartment properties associated with Mitra. The action is part of a money laundering probe into alleged irregularities in municipal recruitments across West Bengal.
