India, May 18 -- The Delhi Transport Corporation will launch special bus services for Delhi government employees to improve office commute connectivity and promote the use of public transport.

The initiative comes as the Delhi government intensifies efforts to reduce fuel consumption amid global energy concerns linked to the ongoing West Asia situation.

According to officials, the special DTC buses will connect Delhi Administration Flats with nearby metro stations and the Delhi Secretariat in line with office timings.

The buses will operate during morning and evening peak hours, with services running from 9 am onwards and return services between 5 pm and 8 pm. Around 54 buses will be deployed under the special arrangement.
