India, Aug. 1 -- On Friday afternoon, a suspected Pakistani drone was shot down by the Indian troops along the Line of Control in the Khour area of Akhnoor sector in Jammu.

The drone was seen hovering over one of the vital security installations when the troops brought it down near Chakla village of Khour, Akhnoor. After recovering the drone, the troops handed it over to the forensic teams for a thorough investigation. According to preliminary investigations, the forensic teams have so far recovered a 64 GB SD card and are scanning the images possibly transferred by the drone camera to its handler operating it from across the Line of Control.
