India, June 12 -- The Defence Research and Development Organisation's (DRDO) indigenous Netra Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system is set to receive its final operational clearance (FOC) on June 25, marking a key milestone in India's airborne surveillance capabilities, according to reports.
The Netra system, developed for the Indian Air Force (IAF), is a critical "eye in the sky" platform designed to detect, track, and monitor aerial and surface threats over long distances.
