India, May 22 -- In the tightly packed lanes of Govindpuri, a 38-year-old woman and her 13-year-old son were found dead inside their ground-floor home around 2 am on Thursday, in what police suspect was a robbery.

The bodies of Sharda Sahu, a homemaker, and her son, a Class 7 student, were discovered with stab wounds inside their Govindpuri, Kalkaji residence, police said. Cash and gold jewellery were reported missing from the house.

According to Delhi Police, a PCR call regarding the incident was received at Govindpuri Police Station around 1 am.
