India, April 23 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has prepared a proposal to build a foot overbridge (FOB) across the Outer Ring Road to improve access to the Pitampura-Prashant Vihar Metro Station, following intervention by Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta.

Officials said the proposal has been sent to the Public Works Department for approval. The planned bridge is expected to provide direct and safer connectivity for residents coming from Prashant Vihar and Rohini.

The move comes after several Residents' Welfare Associations raised concerns about poor access to the metro station. Complaints highlighted that commuters from the Prashant Vihar side have no direct entry and are forced to take longer routes, causing inconvenie...
