India, Oct. 25 -- Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh on Saturday urged people to verify facts before drawing conclusions after Delhi Police granted permission for his October 30 concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

The police had initially denied permission on Thursday, citing specific threat-related inputs, security concerns and law-and-order commitments amid the ongoing festive season. However, following a meeting with concert organisers BookMyShow on Friday, the authorities reconsidered their decision and cleared the event.

Dosanjh, who is currently in the United States, addressed the controversy in a video posted on Instagram, inviting fans to attend the concert and criticising speculation surrounding the event.
