India, Nov. 5 -- Sportspersons from Deoghar have brought laurels to Jharkhand through impressive performances at national and international sporting events, winning medals in lawn bowls and yoga, while another district resident earned recognition as an international technical official.

Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvaniya on Wednesday, November 4, met the players, children and technical officials to congratulate them on their achievements and encourage them to pursue further success. He assured them of all possible administrative support and directed the District Sports Officer to ensure adequate facilities, training, equipment and other resources.
