India, June 12 -- A major fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building in Delhi's Tughlakabad Extension during the early hours of Friday, claiming three lives and leaving several others injured. The blaze reportedly started in the ground-floor parking area and quickly spread through the five-storey building, trapping residents inside.

According to officials, the deceased include a 22-year-old man and two women, while at least eight people were shifted to hospitals for treatment. Delhi Fire Services personnel rescued multiple residents and brought the fire under control after an extensive operation.
