India, April 29 -- A tragic hit-and-run accident in Delhi claimed the lives of two young men, including a 14-year-old student who was speaking to his father on the phone moments before the crash.

The victim, identified as Abhav Bhatia, a Class 10 student of Hansraj School, had gone to watch the IPL match between Delhi and Bengaluru on Monday evening. He was returning home on a motorcycle with his 20-year-old cousin, Yagya Bhatia, a BSc student, when the accident occurred near Ashoka Road.

According to police and family members, Abhav was on a call with his father, Sumit Bhatia, informing him that he was on his way home. While the call was ongoing, a truck allegedly rammed into their motorcycle from behind.
