India, July 1 -- Delhi Police is expected to file its chargesheet next week in the Malviya Nagar hotel fire case that claimed 23 lives, including several foreign nationals. Officials said the investigation has reached its final stage, with the chargesheet being prepared after examining forensic reports, CCTV footage, witness statements and other technical evidence collected during the probe.

The devastating fire broke out on June 3 at the Flourish Stay hotel in Delhi's Hauz Rani area. During the investigation, police arrested the hotel owner, manager and a cook, alleging serious violations of fire safety norms and other statutory requirements.
