India, Aug. 6 -- Delhi Police on Wednesday held an interstate coordination meeting with senior police officers from 11 States and Union Territories to finalise a joint security strategy and strengthen intelligence sharing ahead of Independence Day celebrations.

The meeting, chaired by Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar, was attended by senior police officers from Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Chandigarh. Senior officers from the central intelligence and enforcement agencies also took part in the meeting held at the Delhi Police headquarters.
