Delhi Police detain 4 for molesting, assaulting women in Nehru Place
India, May 12 -- In a swift action, the Delhi Police has detained four accused in connection with the alleged molestation and assault of two women near a club in Nehru Place in the early hours of May 10. Out of the two victims, one woman was from Assam, while the other was from Bihar.
The police also said that preliminary investigation had found no evidence so far of any racial slur targeting the Northeastern woman, even though one of the women had earlier alleged racist abuse during the altercation.
