Delhi Police cancels leaves of all personnel amid Jantar Mantar protest
India, July 25 -- Delhi Police has cancelled all routine leave for its personnel with immediate effect due to the current law and order situation in the Capital, according to police sources on Friday.
Police headquarters issued the order on Thursday and sent it to all district DCPs, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Indira Gandhi International Airport, and other senior officers, they said.
The communication states that no routine leave, such as casual or earned leave, will be granted until further notice. Only genuine emergency leave will be considered after proper verification by the competent authority.
