Delhi marks Partition Horrors Remembrance Day at Dr Ambedkar International Centre
India, Aug. 14 -- Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Delhi Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra paid tribute to Partition victims at a special programme held at Dr Ambedkar International Centre on Thursday, marking Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. The event, titled "Partition Horrors, Remembrance Day," combined music, theatre and video to recall the pain, displacement and personal stories linked to the Partition of India in 1947. Both ministers honoured the struggle, courage and sacrifices of those affected by the events of that period.
