Delhi LG clears land for 150+ borewells, new Metro depot to fast-track infrastructure projects
India, July 8 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu has approved a series of long-pending land allotments to accelerate key infrastructure and public welfare projects across the national capital, including the construction of more than 150 borewells and a new Delhi Metro depot. The decisions are aimed at removing administrative bottlenecks that had delayed several essential civic projects.
According to the Raj Niwas, the approvals cover land transfers required for projects related to water supply, public transport, power infrastructure and other public utilities.
