India, June 19 -- A Delhi-based dermatologist has been arrested for allegedly murdering his long-time domestic worker at his residence in the upscale East of Kailash area, with investigators probing the circumstances that led to the shocking crime.

According to police, the accused, identified as Dr Manish Gupta, allegedly assaulted 45-year-old Meena, who had worked with the family for nearly 15 years, using a cricket bat before stabbing her multiple times on Thursday morning. Officers reached the spot after receiving information about a woman lying in a pool of blood on a terrace.
