Delhi Court takes cognisance of chargesheet in IRS officer's daughter murder case
India, July 18 -- A Delhi court on Saturday took cognisance of the chargesheet filed against Rahul Meena, the former domestic help accused of the rape, murder and robbery of the 22-year-old daughter of a senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer.
Judicial Magistrate Deepika Thakran also directed the Delhi Police to preserve all video evidence related to the investigation and provide the details to the defence. The matter has been listed for scrutiny of documents on August 1.
